Joining LISQ

Our admissions criteria are designed to ensure that students have the necessary skills to engage with the English curriculum effectively. Additionally, as part of our admission process, we carefully evaluate the provisions available within our school to guarantee that we can provide comprehensive support to all admitted students. This assessment is particularly crucial for students with learning difficulties or special educational needs, as we are committed to offering them the tailored assistance and resources they require to thrive in our educational environment. Our goal is to create an inclusive and supportive learning community where every student can reach their full potential, and this thorough evaluation of admissions criteria and available provisions plays a pivotal role in achieving that objective.

For the academic year 2026–2027, the school will be accepting applications for students from KG1 to Grade 9. Children enrolling in KG1 must be born in 2022, while children enrolling in KG2 must be born in 2021, in accordance with the applicable age requirements and grade placement sequence.

How to Apply

The admissions assessment is essential for proper student placement and instructional program planning. Therefore, our assessment process is designed to provide as much information as possible on incoming students’ capacities. The assessment data will inform classroom lesson planning and identify the need for intervention or additional student support.

Required Documents

  • Passport size photograph for the applicant
  • A copy of the applicant's passport, and (visa page for non-UAE citizens)
  • A copy of the parent's passport, and (visa page for non-UAE citizens)
  • A copy of the applicant’s Emirates ID (front & back) - please note that according to ADEK’s regulations, an applicant without a UAE national ID will not be accepted in the school
  • A copy of the parents’ Emirates ID (front & back)
  • A copy of the applicant’s birth certificate
  • A copy of the applicant’s vaccination card
  • A copy of the full family book (for UAE nationals only)
  • A copy of the final report card or the most recent report if not available at the time of admission
  • An official, attested transfer certificate if the student is transferring from a public school within Abu Dhabi and Al Ain, or if transferring from any school in other emirates
  • A copy of the electricity or water bill to show the residential address in the UAE
  • First-time enrollments (KGs or Grade 1) are required to provide the school’s registration office with the student and parent Emirates ID card

**Please note that any certificates or documents issued outside the UAE should be attested by the official authorities such as the Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and the UAE embassy at the country of origin.

Open Mornings are a great opportunity to see the school and to get an idea of what it is like to be an LISG student. We understand the importance of parents visiting a school before deciding to enroll their children with us.

    Entry Requirements

    The following age criteria apply to new admissions for students who are not enrolled in the Academic Year 2025–2026 in any school or nursery (private or public) in the UAE.

    Grade Age Requirement
    KG1 Students born in 2022 who meet the required age criteria
    KG2 Students born in 20221 who meet the required age criteria and follow the grade placement sequence.
    Grade 1 Students born in 2020 who meet the required age criteria and follow the grade placement sequence.
    GRADE 2 & above Admission is based on the successful completion of the previous academic year or grade. Age is not a determining criterion.

    ADEK School Fees Approval

    Kindly note the following points:

    • 5% of tuition fees: Non-refundable registration fee for new students and this will be deducted from the tuition fees.
    • 5% of tution fees: Non- refundable re-registration fee paid during April and May from each academic year and this will be deducted from the tuition fee for the forth coming academic year.
    • First Installment is 33% of school tuition fees in addition to books to be paid between August 20 and August 29.
    • Second Installment is 33% of school tution fees to be paid between December 1 and 12.
    • Third Installment is 29% of school tution fees to be paid between February 2 and 12.

    Note:

    • Vat 5% will be added on the school Uniform fees
    • Transportation Fees: 4,413.
    • The fees are subject to change depending on ADEK.

    Discount

    • Al Ain Municipality: staff members are eligible for a 15% discount.

    Sibling Discount

    • The second child receives a 5% discount.
    • For the third child and any additional siblings, a 10% discount is applied.

    iPads

    iPads are purchased directly by parents and are not included in the fees. Alternatively, you have the option to order them through www.jtrs.ae/shop.
